Bureau Veritas organized a seminar on Energy Management on 8 December 2010 at Dubai World Trade Center

A number of participants from various leading energy conscious organizations from private and government sectors in Dubai attended the seminar on Energy Management which was organized by Bureau Veritas on 8 December 2010.

The objective of this one day event was to highlight the subject of Energy Management Systems and its relevance in today's times. The platform was set to bring together experts from different approaches in energy management to share their ideas and present case studies. CEO's, Directors, Chief Engineers and Facilities Managers from private and government sector organizations took active participation in this event. Featured speakers were from DEWA, Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Emirates Green Building Council, Dubai Quality Group, Pacific Control system and Energy Management Services int.

The first ever contract for EN 16001 "Energy Management System" Certification in UAE was also signed between Bureau Veritas Certification Dubai and Pacific Control System LLC.
